Is there wifi?
There is no wifi or cell phone signal at Harmony Healing Resort. Use this opportunity to disconnect and fully connect with yourself, with others, and with nature. If you really need to connect, you can purchase a Globe sim card with data and our staff can guide you to "signal rock"
Do you accept credit cards?
We do not have credit card processing facilities. Please bring enough cash to pay for any services that you'd like to avail.
Is there a menu?
We will prepare 3 healthy meals for you each day (mix of local and western cuisine) in a communal style eating. Meals will change everyday, there is no menu. All of our food is fresh and locally sourced as we strive to support local farmers and suppliers. We also have an organic farm/garden to at Harmony Healing Resort.
Are there vegan / veg options?
Yes, we can cater to most dietary preferences. Please let us know in advance of any allergies/restrictions.
Are island hopping tours available?
Yes, we offer snorkeling tours of Daracoton Island as well as seasonal trips to Linapacan (ranked as the clearest water in the world).
If you'd like to do El Nido Bacuit Bay island hopping (tour A, B, C, D or a combination/luxury tour) we recommend either doing it before of after your stay, or if you'd prefer staying with us for your entire stay, we can assist to organize transport (boat & land transfer) back and forth to El Nido for the tour.
What's the beach like?
The beach is really nice for for wading in shallow areas. If you'd like to explore the reef please bring water shoes. The tide can go out pretty far during low tide. There are some nice hiking paths along the beach that will take you to deeper swimming area if you'd like to swim during low tide.
Are there bugs?
Yes, and we welcome you to the great outdoors! We are very intentional in blurring the lines between outside/inside spaces, to allow a true connection with nature to occur. As such insects and animals roam freely (chickens, pigs, goats, cows). This experience is not for everyone. If you're afraid, but would like to no longer be afraid we can help you to reconnect to nature.
Is there electricity?
We have solar powered lights in the restaurant. You will be provided with flashlights for your room, as there is no electricity in the rooms.
What is a composting toilet?
At Harmony Healing Resort we use waterless composting toilets. You use them exactly the same as a regular toilet, however instead of flushing you pour sawdust in the toilet. We then compost the the waste and after 1-2 years it is ready to be used as a safe, nutrient rich organic fertilizer. We will teach you how to use the toilets.
How can I book the entire resort for a retreat or wedding?
We welcome group bookings. Please email us to let us know exactly what you'd like and together we can come up with a package and or activities that meet your needs.
How do I get to Harmony Healing resort?
We're located in northern El Nido, Palawan, Philippines, about 1 hour from El Nido town.
From Manila:
- Fly directly to El Nido with www.air-swift.com
- Fly to Puerto Princessa with a variety of airlines and then take the 5 hour van to El Nido (available at the airport exit). You can use skyscanner.com to search for flights.
From El Nido to Teneguiban:
- Take the shared van from El Nido Bus Terminal, look for the sign "Teneguiban" or "Precious". It departs at 10:30am most days except Sundays, (150php per person, 1hour). Call Ragah to confirm its running +63(950)540-5868
- Tricycle: Can be hired anywhere (700-1000php, 40 minutes). Bhert charges 800, if you'd like to prearrange +63(907)679-1646

From Teneguiban to Harmony Healing Resort
From Teneguiban you will take a small boat to Harmony Healing Resort (15 - 30 minutes). We provide complimentary daily boat transfers, 1pm from Teneguiban to Harmony Healing Resort and 12pm from Harmony Healing Resort to Teneguiban. Alternatively you can hire any of the local fisherman to take you at any time (1000php for the transfer).
Boat captains are reluctant to travel at night, so please arrive before 6pm. Going back to El Nido the shared van departs at 6am, or you can hire a private tricycle, jeepney, or van to take you back later.
